A downloadable mod

This is a restoration of one of my earliest mods from 2012 called "Crazy Mod" for Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter. All this mod does is change various in-game values such as weapon fire speed, health and projectile types.

The only thing left from this mod were the DLL files that were backed up in a folder called "Serious Sam TSE" because I just had those DLLs in the Bin folder of some old game build and didn't know exactly what they were.

There weren't actually any other files in this mod aside from DLL modifications, if I remember correctly, that's why it weighs so small.

The only reason why I'm uploading it is to just preserve my earliest work, even if it's not very useful.

Features of this mod

  • Maximum player health and armor is now 999 instead of 100.
  • Turbo cheat (cht_fTranslationMultiplier) is enabled by default in singleplayer and is set to 3.
  • All weapons aside from Cannon have infinite ammo and maximum ammo is set to the minimum amount.
  • Cannonballs are capped at 999.
  • Tommygun shoots twice as fast.
  • Sniper rifle has very high firerate.
  • Laser rifle shoots rockets.
  • Zorg soldiers shoot green homing projectiles of Reptiloids; Zorg commanders shoot rockets.
  • Rocketmen shoot fireballs; Firecrackers shoot 5 different enemy projectiles; Bombermen throw player's grenades.
  • Bio-mechanoid sergeants shoot plasma balls of an Exotech Larva.

Install instructions

  1. Navigate to your Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter installation folder, for example:
    - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Games\Croteam\Serious Sam - The Second Encounter"
    - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam Classic The Second Encounter"
  2. Extract contents of the ZIP file into the "Mods" folder within the game folder (create if there isn't one).
