Small Serious Sam Projects

This is a collection of my very small Serious Sam projects that don't need a dedicated page for each of them. These projects were made on very simple occasions, either as a joke or for personal use.

Happy Killer HUD Font

Release date: 2022-04-30

This is a HUD font for any classic Serious Sam game (TFE, TSE or Revolution) that uses numbers from the Happy Killer font.

I made it all the way back on October 25th, 2012 (2012-10-25) for personal use.

War Crime-free Health Kits

Release date: 2023-04-01

Are you tired of committing war crimes by constantly violating Geneva Conventions Act by playing Serious Sam in the combat zone? Then this mod is for you!

Why do you think there haven't been any updates to Revolution? Because all of the devs are in prison!

Serious SKA Converter

Release date: 2023-04-04

This is a simple console utility for mainly converting models from ASCII SMD format into ASCII SKA format for Serious Engine 1.

NoCD Patches for Classics

Release date: 2023-01-07 (b1.50), 2024-05-11 (everything but TFE 1.00a)

These are game executable patches for every version of Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Serious Sam: The Second Encounter for launching the game without needing a disc, in case you want to install an older patch of the game (including Beta 1.50 for TSE) instead of the latest TFE 1.05 and TSE 1.07 versions.

After downloading the archive, open it and drag the Bin folder under the appropriate game in your game folder. Use appropriate game executable for launching the game depending on the installed game version.

All patches are based on the original executable files (USA region, not Euro). All they do is replace two instructions close to each other. For example, this is how the patch for Beta 1.50 version works:

• @00022B8A - 5 bytes replaced with B8 01 00 00 00
• @00022BC3 - 5 bytes replaced with B8 01 00 00 00
