World X 2 Fan Patches

This is a collection of fan-made patches for the infamous Serious Sam and World X 2 mod released in 2016 by vanya109.

These patches aim to improve gameplay of the original mod and make it even more surreal! As well as introduce some tiny fixes.

Available patches

Music Patch: Fixes crashes related to music by converting tracks from 48kHz to 44kHz.

• Place zMusicPatch.gro into the mod folder. Doesn't alternate gameplay in any way.

Advanced Multiplayer 2: Puts 2.0-pb2 version of the AMP2 mod on top of World X 2.

• Extract contents of AMP2_WX2_2022_11_15.zip into the mod folder and agree to replace existing files.
• It contains tons of new options for multiplayer, as well as singleplayer map support in co-op mode to allow cutscene playback for everyone which is absent in normal co-op in the original. Recommended settings for mimicking the original mod:
  • Max Health: 1000
  • Max Armor: 1000
  • Weapon Fire Speed: 200%
  • Ammo Multiplier: 400%

Vanilla Version: Turns World X 2 mod into a mappack.

• Extract contents of Vanilla.zip into the mod folder AND delete EntitiesMP.dll and GameMP.dll from the Bin folder so they don't affect the mod anymore. Or just rename the Bin folder before applying the patch.

Original Version: The original World X 2 build.

• Extract contents of Original.zip into the mod folder to restore the original mod.

Notes

Keep in mind that all the mod patches are incompatible with each other and won't allow multiplayer play! Every client should have the same patch installed as the server. Aside from the music patch, which is compatible with all!
